According to a new book, Michelle Obama is seeking to play a more active role on the policy side of her husband's White House.According to her recent schedule, she's certainly playing a more active role in the fundraising part of her husband's political life. Wednesday she was in Virginia and did two poilitical fundraisers, while her husband was in Chicago doing three political fundraisers.

Budget Director To Take Over Chief Of Staff Duties
White House Chief of Staff William Daley is stepping down from his post and will be replaced by Budget Director Jack Lew. Over the summer Lew was deeply involved in negotiations to raise the debt ceiling. Daley has only been on the job for about a year.

Daley Steps Down From Chief Of Staff Post
