CAIR: Tea Party Speaker Says She ‘Loves’ Marines Who Desecrated Corpses

WASHINGTON, Jan. 12, 2012 — /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) today condemned remarks by Pamela Geller, the leader of an anti-Muslim hate group and a frequent speaker at Tea Party events, applauding the alleged desecration of Afghan corpses by U.S. Marines.

On her hate blog, Geller wrote in response to CAIR’s condemnation of the desecration: “I love these Marines. Perhaps this is the infidel interpretation of the Islamic ritual of washing and preparing the body for burial.”

While Geller praised the desecration video, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta called it “utterly deplorable.” CAIR yesterday expressed concern that enemies of the United States will use the video to further their anti-American goals.

Hate-filled comments on Geller’s post included:

“I’ve never been prouder to be an American!”

“My heroes!! Best video I’ve seen in awhile :) ”

“Nicest movie I’ve seen in years.”

“These sick mutts need to be urinated on. Defecated on too.”

“Have you burned a Koran today. All around the campfire. Burn, baby, burn.”

“The marines should have dumped the bodies in PIG BLOOD; soaked those bodies, in PIG BLOOD.”

“Looked to me as though the marines were showing respect. They had their heads bowed and observed silence while rinsing off the corpses.”

Desecration by urination is a favorite Geller theme. She has posted images on her blog that include a fake photo of President Obama urinating on an American flag.

Another image posted by Geller, headlined “Piss Be Upon Him,” showed one of the controversial Danish cartoons of the prophet covered in urine. (“Piss Be Upon Him” is designed to mock the traditional phrase “Peace Be Upon Him” that Muslims use when mentioning any prophet of God, including Abraham and Jesus.)

Earlier this year, CAIR thanked Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Governor Rick Scott for declining to speak at a Florida Tea Party convention that featured a presentation by Geller and another Islamophobe. Two hotels, one in Texas and another in Tennessee, dropped scheduled Tea Party and anti-Muslim events that featured Geller as a speaker.

Geller is co-founder of Stop the Islamization of America (SIOA), an organization designated as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), and author of a new book offering step-by-step instructions on how to stop mosque construction in American communities. Geller has bragged that she uses a Quran, Islam’s holy text, as a doorstop. She claims that “Hitler and the Nazis were inspired by Islam” and that Islam “mandates” lies and deception. In a 2010 blog entry, Geller posted a video claiming that Muslims engage in bestiality. Her hate blog was cited frequently by the terrorist who went on a killing spree last year in Norway.

The Occupy Wall Street claim of representing the economic grievances of the American majority is impaired by bad math and lawless behavior. The mainstream media spent President Obama’s entire first term falsely condemning the Tea Party as a potentially violent, hate-filled mob, only to embrace one that actually is.

As the OWS violence escalates, sympathetic liberal mayors give them free rein to break the law as they call for the redistribution of others’ incomes rather than work for their own. As they become more desperate to justify their time on the “job,” their violence escalates. Baiting police and random citizens, sexual assaults, overdoses, murders, we see it’s only a matter of time until even more people die. I’m sure they would be shocked to learn that Obama received more campaign funding from big Wall Street investment firms ($16 million) than any other politician on record. They have already contributed $7.2 million to Obama’s 2012 campaign. Gotta sucker!

There’s no doubt that Americans are suffering under tough economic times. Americans are frustrated, decrying out-of-control bailouts and corporate subsidies. The jobless rate under the Obama Administration hovers at 9 percent while Washington wants to raise taxes to finance more government spending. These occupiers are not the 99 percent, and perhaps not even the 9 percent. In a nation of 300 million people even an estimate of .9 percent would provide 2.7 million dependents to fall into the abyss of anarchy, which is all they deserve to occupy.

Actor Sean Penn says the Tea Party wants to “lynch” President Obama, launching the latest celebrity attack on the conservative grassroots movement that has grown into a political force.

During an interview with CNN’s Piers Morgan on Friday in which Penn rambled about the need for more infrastructure spending, affordable health care, bolder actions from President Obama and an end to the Afghanistan war – all in the same answer — he segued into what’s wrong with the Tea Party.

“And yet there’s another problem. You have what I call ‘the get the N-word out of the White House party,’ the Tea Party,” he said.

Asked about fellow actor Morgan Freeman’s claim that the Tea Party just wants to “get the black man out” – a claim that he made on the same show last month – Penn said, “I don’t think there’s any doubt about it.”

“If you ask a representative of the Tea Party, ‘OK Social Security, socialist. Get rid of it?’ They’re going to get very confused,” he said. “At the end of the day, there’s a big bubble coming out of their heads saying, you know, can we just lynch him?”

With his unprovoked attack, Penn has joined a growing list of Hollywood stars who have criticized and hurled racial accusations at the Tea Party.

Freeman said the Tea Party movement is a “racist thing,” adding that its agenda “just shows the weak, dark, underside of America. We’re supposed to be better than that.”

Other stars who have charged Tea Party with racism are Bill Maher, Joy Behar, Janeane Garofalo and Jon Stewart. Actress Eva Longoria said the movement is “very dangerous because it’s not the character of America.”

Despite the charges, black businessman Herman Cain, who is a favorite among Tea Party activists, is a frontrunner in the GOP presidential field, according to several polls.

He chided Freeman and others last month for accusing the movement of racism, saying it’s unlikely they’ve ever been to a Tea Party event.

“I just think it’s sad that they’re so short-sighted in really understanding what the whole Tea Party citizen movement is all about,” he told Neil Cavuto. “I’m not offended by it because it doesn’t slow down my momentum. It doesn’t slow down the reaction that I get from people.”

Militant Al Qaeda extremist group chop off boy’s hand in Yemen ( Sharia has no place in America )

Militant Islamic extremists from Yemen’s Al-Qaeda linked group, Partisans in Sharia, have been implementing strict Sharia law in the town of Jaar. On Sunday they chopped the hand off a 15 year old boy and a man, then paraded the severed limbs around town.

 
Internal disruption and political turmoil within Yemen has paved the way for the emergence of Islamic extremist groups who have taken advantage of the power vacuum to seize control of several towns in the Abyan province. The al-Qaeda linked group, Partisans in Sharia that control Jaar in Abyan, have begun to implement the strictest form of Sharia law.

 

On Sunday the group summoned town residents to watch as Sharia law was meted out to two people, one a 15 year old boy. Both individuals were accused of stealing electrical cables and had their hands publicly chopped off by sword.

 

According to the Arab Times, witnesses were afraid to give their names as feared reprisals, but confirmed the event had taken place. Both hands were then paraded round the town by the militants who warned that theft will not be tolerated under al-Qaeda rule, the Yemen Post reported. Neither report indicates if a trial took place to determine the guilt of the two accused.

 

Aljazeerasays that the tribes in the Abyan area had close ties to al-Qaeda in the past but have now lost sympathy with them, since the Partisans of Sharia captured Zinjibar and other regional towns. Locals have suffered suicide bomb attacks, the imposition of militant control, and now the harsh edict of Sharia law.

 

David Petraeus, director of the CIA, issued a statement on Sept 13 saying al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula

“has emerged as the most dangerous regional node in the global jihad.”

Labor Department Agreements Protect Illegal Workers ( Maybe they should protect prostitues and drug dealers as well )

Labor Secretary Hilda Solis has overseen a number of signed agreements between U.S. agencies and foreign officials pledging to give migrant workers the full protections of U.S. workplace laws — regardless of their legal status — and she says her department will uphold them.

“No matter how you got here or how long you plan to stay, you have certain rights,” Solis said at an event unveiling the latest agreements on Monday in Washington.

Solis says foreign workers need to know their rights, so that they can lodge complaints without fear that they will be fired or deported. She believes the signed agreements with countries like El Salvador and Mexico will serve to “remove those fears.”

Critics of the move say the policy flies in the face of U.S. laws on both immigration and labor, and find the pledges especially worrisome in a time of high unemployment.

“Obviously everyone wants workers protected in the workplace, that’s not the issue,” said Phil Kent, national spokesman for Americans for Immigration Control. “The problem is the bending over backwards to help and promote black market labor.”

Solis defends the agreements, saying that current U.S. law protects all workers.

“Previous administrations, both Republican and Democrat, have held to that, so I’m not doing anything different,” she said.

But critics argue that regardless of which party advocates for the written agreements, the policy is wrong. They also note that the Labor Department’s own website states that businesses may only hire workers who are U.S. citizens or those who are in the country legally.

Kent says it’s also a slap in the face to immigrants who try to go through proper legal channels for naturalization, saying they must ask themselves whether it’s worth it to immigrate legally.

“Why did I bother to go through six, seven years of this to become a citizen when you have people like Secretary Solis and the Obama administration just thumbing their nose at the law — and the American worker?” Kent said, describing how legal immigrants may respond.

In addition to the agreements already signed with countries in Central America, Solis says there are also plans to enter into similar partnerships with governments in Southeast Asia and the Caribbean.

1.  Health Care Reform is Signed into Law
Democrats spent a big part of 2009 attempting to pass a comprehensive health care reform. On March 22, 2010, they finally rallied together and the reform was passed with a narrow margin. It was signed by the President four days later. Called the ObamaCare, it is undoubtedly the most significant health care reform in decades.

2.  Sarah Palin Mania
The former Vice-President candidate has become the most visible Republican in the country. Since 2009, Sarah Palin has refined her ability to generate media attention and popularity and has become a considerable political clout. She made headlines both in a positive and negative light, and comes only second to Obama for being the most followed American politician today.

3.  Afghanistan
In 2010, America lost the lives of 497 soldiers in the war in Afghanistan. However, the story failed to gather the appropriate public attention. This news is definitely important, but it seems the significance is lost to an American public that’s already too tired of the conflict and the continuing loss it brings.

4.  The Bush Tax Cuts
Amidst criticisms from the progressives, President Obama reached a compromise with Republicans to extend tax cuts for the wealthy for an additional two years. In return Obama received a 13 month extension of unemployment benefits and a number of provisions.

5.  SB1070 Controversy
After the Arizona Legislature passed the controversial illegal immigration enforcement bill SB1070 in April, the Obama administration sued the state before the new law could be enacted, contending that the legislation encroached upon the federal government’s jurisdiction to control the state’s pesky illegal immigration problem.

6.  The Continued Decline of the U.S. Economy’s
“Jobless recovery” became a popular term around mid of 2010, but the so-called economic recovery didn’t feel like a recovery at all. The federal government may infuse a lot of cash to the economy, but it hasn’t done anything to convince Americans that the recession was over. A weak housing sector and continued high unemployment rate is more than enough evidence to the contrary.

7.  The High Unemployment Rate
One of the biggest controversies of the year was the continued efforts by Democrats to make unemployment benefits last, which has forced Republicans to concede extending the federal benefits plan incrementally throughout the year. In exchange for 99 weeks more of unemployment benefits, Republicans get to extend the Bush Tax Cuts across the board.

Republicans gained the majority in the House of Representatives. Their win in the 2010 midterm election will grant the GOP increasing power with which to barricade President Obama over the next two years.

9.  The Tea Party Movement’s Influence Grows
Delaware Republican Christine O’Donnell’s win in the state’s Senate primary election caused everyone to consider the Tea Party Movement as a considerable and growing force in American politics. As the Tea Party continues to gain power in 2011, most conservatives believe the mainstream GOP will be forced to embrace it. If not, party leaders may very well see a shakeup of revolutionary proportions.

10.  Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill
The Gulf oil spill was easily the top story of 2010. Dominating the news for well over four months, it easily caused great political and economic repercussions to the whole country. The tragedy caused President Obama to face claims of inadequate response and has similarly damaged Republicans who made a number of verbal gaffes during the crisis.
