If Barack Obama loses to Mitt Romney in November, it will almost certainly be stubbornly high unemployment during the past four years that cost the president the election. The president told us it wouldn't be this way. His stimulus plan was supposed to bring down unemployment.The administration had projected that unemployment would be down to 6 percent by August 2012 - thanks in large part to Obama's stimulus package. Instead, we're stuck with unemployment over 8 percent.
